You can identify the material of your boat by a few clear characteristics. Hypalon has a matte, slightly rough finish and is more resistant to UV light and chemicals. PVC is smoother and more glossy.

How do I winterize my inflatable boat or prepare it for storage?
First clean the boat thoroughly and let it dry completely. Preferably maintain light pressure on the tubes to prevent creases and do not let the boat deflate completely. Store it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and use a tarp or cover for additional UV protection.
