• What types of repairs do you perform?

  We repair all brands of inflatable boats and RIBs — from small leaks and tears to complete tube or transom replacements.
  We also carry out durable repairs on loose floors, seams and valves.

• Can I receive a quote immediately?

  Yes, usually.
  Send clear photos of the damage and mention the brand and type of the boat.
  Based on this, we can make a good estimate of the costs and required work.

• Can you provide a price in advance for leaks?

  For leaks, we cannot provide a fixed price in advance,
  because we must first carefully check the boat for air loss and material condition.
  Only after inspection can we determine the best repair method and what it will cost.
  This assessment is naturally non-binding.

• Do you also repair boats from other brands?

  Yes, we can repair all brands of inflatable boats and RIBs, regardless of type or year of manufacture.
  Our experience extends from well-known brands such as Achilles, Avon, Bombard, Brig, Capelli, Gemini, Grand, Highfield, Humber, Lomac, Narwhal, Ribcraft, Tornado and Zodiac,
  to lesser-known or custom-built models.

  Whether your boat is made of Hypalon, PVC or Neoprene,
  we always use the right material and the right adhesive types for a durable and professional result.
  This ensures that every boat – from private to professional use – can return to the water in top condition.

• Do you also make new tubes?

  Yes, we make custom new tubes from high-quality Hypalon (Orca Pennel & Flipo).
  These are built completely custom made and mounted on the existing hull.
  Retubing is usually only worthwhile for RIBs from approximately 5 meters in length,
  because the custom process is time and material intensive.
  However, this gives you a durable, professional solution that will last for years.

• Does HIBS also sell repair materials?

  Absolutely. In our webshop you will find everything for do-it-yourself repairs: adhesive, fabric,
  valves etc.

• What is the average repair time?

  That depends on the extent of the damage and the workload in the workshop.
  Small repairs can often be completed within a few days, while larger projects such as retubing require more time.
  We always provide an estimate in advance once we have assessed your boat.

• How do I best maintain my inflatable boat?

  Always rinse the boat with clean water after use and use special maintenance products (such as August Race)
  for cleaning and protection against UV light and salt.
  Avoid aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive brushes.

• Can I visit to show my boat?

  Yes, but by appointment only.
  We’re regularly on-site for projects, so making an appointment ensures the workshop is open and we have the time to help you properly.
